Melissa Ehrhart

Melissa Ehrhart is the INDOT Statewide Geologist. She has been with INDOT for 10 years as the Fort Wayne District Geologist to the current position. Melissa has been in love with geology and the weather since the age 5. Collecting rocks, discussing weather warning systems and weather in general, and bird watching/identifying birds with her grandma are part of her core memory of her childhood and has shaped Melissa’s life in general. Melissa has been married for 18 years. She has two wonderful children that she loves to cheer on at sporting events. Melissa is a lifetime member Girl Scout and a Girl Scout Leader. She hopes with her experiences as a Gold Award Girl Scout will help make her troop better people as they grow up. Melissa loves being outdoors and doing outdoor activities. If she is not outside, then she is either enjoying a book or playing video games.
